Sealing Socket Head Screws

Keep out dust and contaminants and lock in air and fluid. As you tighten these corrosion-resistant screws, a rubber O-ring under the head compresses to form a tight seal. The deep, six-point socket keeps hex keys from slipping out and damaging the drive. Length is measured from under the head.

• 18-8 Stainless Steel— The choice for wet and outdoor environments, these screws won't rust. However, they don't hold up to the harsh chemicals that 316 stainless steel screws can.
• Highly Corrosion-Resistant 316 Stainless Steel— Superior to 18-8 stainless steel screws, these screws won't degrade when exposed to harsh weather, salt water, and most chemicals.
• Buna-N O-Ring— These seals won't swell or soften when they touch oil, grease, or fuel.
• Silicone Rubber O-Ring— Withstand a wider range of temperatures than Buna-N and Viton seals without becoming brittle. However, they degrade when exposed to oil, grease, and fuel.
• Viton® Fluoroelastomer O-Ring— Our most chemical-resistant seals. They withstand oil, grease, fuel, solvents, synthetic lubricants, and acids, even at high temperatures.
