Adhesive-Mount Nuts
Adhesive-mount nuts add strong threads to material that's too thin, too brittle, or too tough to drill — such as acrylic, carbon fiber, and other composites. Large holes in the flanged base let adhesive or resin flow through and spread for an extra-strong hold. A larger base spreads pressure across a wider area; a smaller base fits into tighter spaces. Adhesive-back versions ship with a peel-and-stick 3M VHB pad for quick light-duty installs without glue.
- 316 Stainless Steel— Resists corrosion from salt water and harsh chemicals.
- Zinc-Plated Steel— Resists rusting in wet environments.
- Open-End— Through-threaded nut for full screw engagement.
- Closed-End— Sealed top blocks adhesive, resin, and debris from gunking up the threads, and stops screws from penetrating your material.
- Round vs. Narrow Base— Round bases spread load widely; narrow oblong bases fit into channels, corners, and other tight spaces.
- Adhesive-Back— Comes with a 3M Very High Bond pad — peel the backing and stick the nut on for quick installs without glue.
