Cap Nuts
Conceal and protect protruding screw threads while fastening parts together. Also known as acorn nuts, they have a smooth, rounded head that creates a finished look.
- Standard— The most commonly used cap nuts.
- High— Cover extra-long screws without cutting them.
- High Heavy— Large gripping area keeps wrenches from slipping off as you tighten.
- Open End— Thread onto screws of any length.
- Threadlocker— A nylon patch on the threads resists loosening from mild vibration.
- Nylon Insert— A nylon insert prevents loosening from moderate vibration.
- Distorted Thread— Irregularly shaped threads grip better than a nylon insert.
- Sanitary / Sealing— Crevice-free with a Buna-N seal for sanitary or sealed applications.
