Also known as extension nuts, these are commonly used to connect lengths of threaded rod and join threaded parts.

• Hex— The most commonly used coupling nuts.
• Round— Fit in tight spots and create a finished appearance.
• With Sight Hole— Confirm that threads are fastened to the right depth.
• Left-Hand-Thread— Pair with left-hand threaded rods; turn left to tighten.
