Large flat sides make these nuts easy to grip with a wrench and keep them from rotating in channels and square holes. Available in low-strength steel, medium-strength steel, stainless, brass, fiberglass, and ultra-high-temperature carbon fiber.

  • Low-Strength Steel About half the strength of medium-strength; for light-duty fastening.
  • Medium-Strength (SAE Grade 5) Suitable for fastening most machinery and equipment.
  • Thin-Profile (Jam Nut) Two-thirds the height for low-clearance applications; can be jammed together.
  • 18-8 / 316 Stainless Good chemical resistance; 316 handles salt water and harsh chemicals.
  • Hot-Dipped Galvanized Thick coating for better corrosion resistance in outdoor environments.
